What Does Thailand Have to Offer?
With Bangkok being over 600 square miles, it is difficult to see all that there is to see. There are over 400 temples in Bangkok alone and over 32000 scattered about the country. Which ones are worth seeing and which temples are the most beautiful? It may surprise you to know that some of the most unforgettable temples are the ones that are least known. Aside from the temples, there is a host of other noteworthy sites that would make for an unforgettable experience. There are palaces, river cruises, cultural performances, floating markets and street markets galore in Bangkok and the surrounding area.
In addition to all of the beautiful temples, there are many palaces, museums, markets, beaches, historical sites and other noteworthy tourist attractions to be enjoyed. The ways to travel to these sites are also unlimited. One can brave a motorcycle taxi, enjoy an open air tuktuk ride or take a taxi. A minibus, tour bus or BTS ride can also get you to a majority of interesting sites as well. Ones first trip to the Kingdom of Thailand, can be spent just walking around. This can be another way to slowly take in all the tourist sites that Bangkok has to offer. So why is Thailand so exciting and unique? Because you could spend years and years touring around and never see all that there is to see.
Thailand Has Asian and Western Cuisine
Thailand is blessed with some of the finest dining establishments in the world. Some of these places are legendary Western establishments, but some are local Thai institutions and both serve tremendous food.
Delicious food is important, but there are many factors that make a restaurant great. Most expats want to dine at a restaurant where the owner is passionate about his food and enjoys what he is doing. Others are Cheap Charlies that like a 40 Baht beer and an inexpensive meal! Our members like to eat out in Thailand and we hope they will be checking the food, the service, the ambiance, the sanitation and the even the restaurant's restroom. The reviews our members provide should include text as well as photos of the food and the premises. Decent restaurants should be talked about and shared with people and that is exactly what we are going to do. Let us know if you come across a restaurant that is new and needs a review. If you would like to try you hand at being a restaurant critic, feel free to post your review with pictures and the establishments address and phone number in the form section Thailand Dining Out, Entertainment, activities
