Ive been steadily loosing my hair for years now but I'm not completely bald yet but I have recently started to try and hide my bald areas by letting my hair grow longer on one side of my head then combing the long hair over my bald area then holding the hair in place with a non scented strong hair spray . My wife thinks it looks ok


When Ive been in the shower and my remaining hair gets wet I have combed it flat back to see what I would look like if I had a completely shaved head but personally I don't think it looks to bad. I asked my wife what she thought to my simulated shaved wet head head look. Her answer was that it made me look much older and fatter in the face and my comb over looked much better,


Other random comments made by my wife about me shaving my head was that men with shaved heads looked like '' bad men '' and '' trouble makers'' . I did even mention to her that if I did shave my head , I could then grow a small beard or goatee . On hearing that comment she just rolled her eyes and walked away.




Has any one here got to the stage of approaching baldness and then decided to fully shave their head , or is contemplating the possibility of fully shaving their head and if you did how did you feel afterwards , was it a wise move or a mistake.

My grandad used this particular style of hairdo. The hair on the left side of his head was about a foot long .
My nan used to say he looked like a walnut whip.
