  • Request for a green section, na khrap...

For the Gentlemen 'High up on the ladder',

Can we get a separate forum section 'Green/Outdoor', in the section "Living in Thailand"?

A place where the stunning flora and fauna of (rural and wild) Thailand can be shown? Also the proper place for outdoor hobbies, sports and adventure. A place to (online) sneak outside for those of you who sit all day behind glass, and where topics like

    Whitewater rafting
    Rock climbing
    RC drones
    Jungle trekking
    Surfing
    Gold panning
    Running
    Mountain biking
    Fish keeping
    Survival
    Pets
    Botanical gardens
    Organic farming
    Archery
    Landscape design
    Camping
    Animal care
    Tree hut building
    Beekeeping
    Cloud watching
    Outdoor painting
    Bush craft
    Herb gardens
    Kayaking/Canoeing
    Recycling
    Seed collecting
    Photography
    Outdoor ovens
    Kite flying
    Slack lining
    Pigeon racing for Albert
    Walking
    Organic pesticides
    Stargazing
    Farming
    Cave exploring
    Secret gardens
    Insect collecting
    Gardening
    Sky diving
    Mushroom hunting
    Off-road driving
    Sailing
    Birdwatching
    Fishing
    Gardening tools
    Metal detecting
    Raising cattle
    Composting
    Skydiving
    Knife making
    Backpacking
    Skateboarding
    Pond
    Swimming
    Horseback riding
    Geo caching
    Boat building
Scuba diving and the million things I forgot would/could/should showcase the oft remarkable green side of Thailand.

I know there's the word 'activities' in 'Thailand Dining Out, Entertainment, activities' so maybe it could be a sub-forum there.

        Not a bad idea....
Surely would benefit the forum to enact as many a variety of sections as possible.

        Encourages folks.
Popular always - especially these types of broad subject matters....travel threads too!!

The "na khrap" adds a certain [frisson] of pretentiousness don't you think?

Not asking much are you mate

Is it only the green side that you are interested in? Is that not a bit restrictive? Do you only want to encourage environmentally friendly outdoor activities?
What about 4x4 Green Laning for example? Hedonist Tubing maybe?
Just sayin like. No offence meant.

Just being polite, na khrap... Common expression here in TH, almost untranslatable in English, n'est-ce pas?
