Forum Goals - What's the Point of This Forum?

It seems some disgruntled TD members decided to form a more perfect Union (Americans will get the reference) by starting a new and improved forum.

Yet after months of wallowing in sub mediocrity, the forum as failed to gather a significant following.

So what's the point here?

What's going to make this forum unique? From what I've seen, it's nothing more than a spot on the net for a few people to post up stuff on a stock vbulletin forum without no guidance and nobody willing to take to plunge to make this place successful.

I've always figured if you're going to do something, do it the best you can. Waiting on Google to bring members ain't going to happen when you've got the behemoths of TD, Thaivisa and those pansy teacher's forums already thousands of hits on google ahead of you.

You'll rest better understanding that forums aren't required to be akin to the next.

All have their own character, variety, and certainly traffic.

Success can't be measured by any homogenous standard.

The point of the forum is having fun plain and simple. We are not getting stressed and not worrying about a thing. That is the mission statement at the moment.

A year from now people could be leaving here because all the idiots who have recently taken over TD ( courtesy of over zealous mods ) come here because TD has become stupifyingly dull.

Pretty damn good I think. 800,000 posts in 5 years. Took AF 10 years to get their first million.
