  • Hellholes: Worlds Worst Potholes Inspire Unique Test Track that Helps Ford Develop Even Stronger Cars

Lommel Proving Ground is able to simulate road conditions from all over the world, including the Australian Outback, farm tracks in India, and locations in France, the United Kingdom, Russia and more

Vehicles available in Asia Pacific that have been put through their paces on the Lommel test track include: the Fiesta, Focus, Kuga, Mondeo, Edge and Taurus

    SHANGHAI, China, July 23, 2015

Ford engineers have travelled the world to find more than 100 of the worst road conditions from 50 countries, including China, India and Australia, and recreated them on a test track in Lommel, Belgium. Many of the potholes and challenging conditions were brought to the attention of Ford engineers by customers who had damaged their vehicles on particularly bad stretches of road.

Well they missed Indonesia. Is there a hole where the whole car disappears but lands on a bus?

This would mess up your optional alloys?

Haiti as well as stealing man-hole covers is the norm, not to mention the bad roads.
