Why should you not be able to enjoy takeaway food, just because you happen to be a dog?
This age-old question may finally have been solved by a Thai restaurant in Dublin, Ireland, which has launched what they claim to be the "world's first" food delivery service for dogs.

A quick trip to Camile's website proves that yes, there is indeed an option for dog's nestled away in their delivery menu.

It looks like a few pioneering mutt's have already begun testing out the service, too.

Mashable has reached out to Camile and we will update this article if we receive a response.

UPDATED 15 March 2:10pm GMT:
Daniel Green, a spokesperson for Camile, has responded to Mashable's questions.
"Our head chef noticed that when he brought food home his dog would go crazy because of the smell of the food," explained Green.
"Not being able to live with the guilt he came up with the dish and we decided that it would be a great product to share with our customers."
Green told Mashable the response to the service has been overwhelmingly positive.
"With so many people being dog owners there has been a big increase in dog friendly environments but there has been a lack of something you can enjoy at home with your dog," he said. "You just have to look at the photos people have posted of their dogs enjoying the dish on our social media channels to see that people seem to be excited about the service."
Camile currently has nine branches across Dublin, and Green said they deliver to most of the city.
