    A selection of Home Cooked teas prepared, cooked, and polished off by my good self in recent times


    Oven cooked salmon, baked potato, boiled carrots, green beans, and purple sprouting broccoli.




    Oven poached chicken breast, baked potato, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower.



    Poached salmon with oven chunky chips, boiled cauliflower and carrots.

          Hi Blobby. Is the salmon wild of Farm? Farm fish is very toxic and has health warnings about how much you should eat
          • A Norwegian researcher has raised serious concerns about high levels of contaminants in farm-raised salmon
          • She claims the type of contaminants detected in farmed salmon have a negative effect on brain development and is associated with autism, ADD / ADHD and reduced IQ. They can also affect your immune system and metabolism
          • The Norwegian Health Department has issued new official recommendations to women of childbearing age or who are pregnant, suggesting they limit farmed salmon to a maximum of two meals per week due to potential toxicity
          • Four major grocery chains in Norway are threatening to ban farmed salmon from their stores unless the farmed salmon industry agrees to change their production to closed pens and guarantees that the fish are safe to eat

            It will be farmed.
            There is Wild Alaskan on offer , which I find to strong tasting for my palette, and also Keta salmon which is again strong flavour, and also a bit rubbery.

            So I stick with what suits me, just don't cross the road as often to minimise the risks

                  Nice food but looks a bit bland, as troy said a bit of spicy pepper & gravy would liven it up, or at least add some fresh herbs, Mint and Thai Peppers, Parsley makes a good sauce with the ubiquitous fish sauce.

                    Not bland for my taste; all fresh tasty ingredients.
                    The secret is not overcooking things so that the meat/fish and vegetables retains their moisture

                    But yes I have had some nice sauces when dining in restaurants.

                        You can do that, fresh and tasty is good, but so are fresh herbs and lime juice, chilies.
                        I live in Thailand so a bit of spice is essential.
                        My wife Aka (she who must be obeyed) is off at the market with our daughter's Aka (Anchors) getting supplies right now, so as to put Positive spin on it, I shall take some photos when they return.
