Space X Dragon.

I've been watching several hours of the Dragon crew mission. Here I thought I had a cool job but this takes our technology to another level. And then to think they, we have been doing this (the international space station ) for twenty years.

The moon, that was late 60's early 70's. Wow now that's cool.

At seventeen thousand five hundred miles an hour their getting this ten times a day.

Well not exactly but yea, they're getting more sunrises and sunsets for their time than the vast majority of us. How cool is that?

The video of the splashdown and recovery is worth a view. The commentary was a bit embarrassing though. The girl from Space-x kept saying "America" and burst into tears at the end. Very strange.

The hype is/was pure Americana at its best\worst. The Americans have relied on their best buds the Russians to ferry them without loss for the past, is it 16 years, in their 1970's capsule now the Americans now go back to their Apollo days and it is all wonderful. Great feat and bits can be reused. But no great step forward.
