        It isn't just the beaches it is every roadside all around the country.

        There are a very few exceptions where locals mobilize to clean up.

        But the sheer volume of disgarded single use plastic overwhelms most local well intentioned efforts to clean up.

        Until a top down solution is brought about, to restrict the use of single use plastic clean up will be elusive.

        Ireland is a good example of how clean up can be accomplish, you can't find a plastic bag to save your life in Ireland. France has recently adopted similar equally effective measures.

        Funny how it is a Spaniard doing the complaining, Spain is almost as bad as Thailand for plastic rubbish everywhere!
