              FUKUSHIMA 50 Trailer (2021)

March 11, 2011 - 2:46 PM - Japan’s Tohoku Region: at a magnitude of 9.0, the strongest earthquake in the country’s history strikes, triggering a mega tsunami and carnage that would end up killing thousands of people and displacing many more. It mercilessly engulfs the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant in Fukushima prefecture, causing a crippling station blackout. Unable to be cooled, the nuclear reactors quickly turn into hydrogen bombs at the brink of explosion. If the power plant is abandoned, Japan’s destruction is assured. Facing a life or death situation, the power plant workers known as the “Fukushima 50”, including shift supervisor Izaki and plant manager Yoshida, remain on the site until the bitter end. As the world holds its breath, the Fukushima 50 fight for their hometown, their families, and the future of Japan.

              • Wish it was this year.

Sherlock season 5 release date, cast, trailer, plot: When is the new series out?/When will Sherlock season 5 be released?

There is no official release date for a new series of Sherlock but we can expect the show to arrive in either 2022 or 2023.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman take the lead roles in the series, which ended back in 2017.

Co-showrunner Steven Moffat told Digital Spy: “I haven't really thought about it. Mark [Gatiss, co-showrunner]’s been doing other stuff as well, so we haven't sat down and had a proper talk about what we would do with another series."

Moffat and fellow creator Mark Gatiss said they have been looking into Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's original stories for further inspiration.

Who wil be in the cast of Sherlock season 5?

Of course it is hoped Benedict Cumberbatch will return as the main character, and he will be joined by Martin Freeman as Watson.

In the last series we met Sherlock's sister Eurus Holmes (played by Sian Brooke) who Sherlock himself did not remember existed.

In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk Sian Brooke said she would love to come back to play Eurus.

She said: "It would be great, she is definitely a character I would love to revisit. You don’t get to play these parts every day, she’s abnormal and those sorts of parts are always great.: https://www.express.co.uk/showbiz/tv...ct-cumberbatch

                  • SAG Awards 2021 Nominations: The Complete List

Nominations for the 27th annual ceremony honoring the best performances in film and TV were unveiled Thursday morning by actors Lily Collins and Daveed Diggs via a virtual livestream on the SAG Awards’ official Instagram account.

The Screen Actors Guild Awards often serve as a corrective to the many Globes snubs, and this year was no different. Aside from Aaron Sorkin’s “The Trial of the Chicago 7,” an entirely new slate of films, including “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom,” “Da 5 Bloods,” “Minari” and “One Night in Miami,” received top honors in the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble category. And, thankfully, the awards show doesn’t silo non-English-language movies, paving the way for “Minari” (starring Steven Yeun) to emerge as a major challenger this awards season.

The SAG Awards are perhaps the most accurate portent for the ceremonies still to come, as a significant portion of SAG-AFTRA’s membership overlaps with the Academy Awards voting body. As history has shown us, the SAG Awards can either make or break Oscar dreams, with last year’s ceremony cementing Bong Joon-ho’s “Parasite” as a serious Best Picture season contender after the film picked up the top prize.

                    Some I enjoyed…….

Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series

                    “Dead To Me”
                    “The Flight Attendant”
                    “The Great”
                    “Schitt’s Creek”
                    “Ted Lasso”

Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series

                    Cate Blanchett, “Mrs. America”
Michaela Coel, “I May Destroy You”
                    Nicole Kidman, “The Undoing”
                    Anya Taylor-Joy, “The Queen’s Gambit”
                    Kerry Washington, “Little Fires Everywhere”

Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series

                    Bill Camp, “The Queen’s Gambit”
                    Daveed Diggs, “Hamilton”
                    Hugh Grant, “The Undoing”
Ethan Hawke, “The Good Lord Bird”
Mark Ruffalo, “I Know This Much Is True”
