      RIP Jim Nabors : June 12, 1930 – November 30, 2017

      https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/30/o...e-is-dead.html

Nabors was a really good singer.
Never knew he was gay though - doesn't make him a bad guy at all!
God, the panic within the Dems, MSM, and left must be horrifying...realizing that Joe is really the best they've got.

              RIP John Perry Barlow

John Perry Barlow, Grateful Dead Lyricist and Internet Pioneer, Dead at 70

"The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), the non-profit digital rights organization Barlow cofounded, said in a statement on its website that Barlow died in his sleep on Wednesday. When Barlow was 15, he attended Fountain Valley School in Colorado where he met fellow student Bob Weir and they became friends. Barlow began co-writing songs in 1971 with Grateful Dead founding member Weir, a teaming that would last until the Dead disbanded in 1995. "Cassidy," "Mexicali Blues," Black-Throated Wind" and "Looks Like Rain" are among the dozens of songs Barlow helped pen. He contributed four songs to 1989's Built to Last."

Had a few friends that were Deadheads, but never liked them personally. Their popularity is a real mystery to me.

Same here. Never did care for 99% of their music.
Basically, it was too-heavily drug-oriented IMO.

Never had a problem with being drug-oriented. I just didn't like their tunes. I like "Heroin" by Lou Reed better than " Sweet Jane', but both are good songs.
Loved "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds", speaking of drug songs, although Lennon maintained the initials were a coincidence and I'm inclined to believe him as he was really direct and honest about his music.
Never understood why anyone liked Reds. All they did is put me to sleep. However, I don't like alcohol either and most people do.

Too cool! The body isn't even in the ground and there's assholes out there that are bashing him.

If it was some punk rock star who OD'd on drugs. man! The accolades would be overwhelming!
