The greater desire to keep Farang company.
      Hang out in Farang circles.
Obsessed with taking only Farang fare.
      Shopping Farang.

Compared to the cultural mecca of Pattaya, I'm frankly surprised at the dearth of hearty breakfast options here. Smashed avocado and poached egg on whole grain toast is apparently the new age diggers breakfast.

Count me in, better than the pseudo Brit/Aussie muck in Pattaya!

...a bit of a digression: I read somewhere that chicken parm is the national bird of Australia. I've tried it in 2 locations here in bkk and was unimpressed by pressed overcooked breast, canned tomato sauce (love ya, Prego!) and wood-dust Parmesan. Is it true?

What about that goop you guys eat down under - Vegemite?
                God-awful-tasting stuff!
God, the panic within the Dems, MSM, and left must be horrifying...realizing that Joe is really the best they've got.

^Vegemite is great! Great for you, too. Strangely, a septic wanted to try some when I was living in Isaan, and I was happy to oblige. He loves the damn stuff! As for me, I'm a happy little vegemite- I always have a supply on hand, wherever I may be in the world. Required gift from those who come visit me from down under.

^^ That's about the long and short of it. Breaded chicken breast, topped with tomato sauce (the posh places will say sugo), a slice of processed ham, overbaked with melted cheese (but not parmesan dust- an aussie would throw that back at ya. A decent wad). It's inoffensive, but uninspiring. We even have chains selling schnitzels, such as Schnitty's. Few aussies call it a chicken parmigiana- It's a parmy. We don't like long words. And, you know what- they will even have a parmy on the menu at an Indian restaurant. Plenty of people order it too. Cringe.

But the national dish of Pattayaland is unquestionably the English breakfast. Competition is fierce. Quite a few local expat owned ventures make bacon, sausages and other smallgoods.

Think the "english" breakfast in Oz is far superior to what I've eaten in Pattaya. Even here in Queensland where seafood is supreme. What about Adelaide Sabang, or are you too busy pigging out on pie floaters?

                          "Pie Floaters"

Thought 'Spotted Dick' was enough of a gastrointestinal abomination!

We should rename this thread. Does anyone actually like ex Pattspats rebasing to Adelaide?

...according to google maps, there's a straight line between Adelaide and Antarctica...see many penguins?
