    First dive trip completed. One more to go.

    This past trip couldn’t have been better, being able to swim with whale sharks in a natural environment.

      I very much agree with your views below.
      Ask the first hotel about the required requirements in the form of a Covid vaccine certificate. They asked for a copy of our CDC card, which contained evidence of two injections.

      This will save us from any 14-day or 7+7-day quarantine requirements because we are traveling within Thailand.

            when booking these dives of late we not only had to show proof of our Diving Certification we had to show proof of our Vaccine shots

                    Now the diving company has requested we take an ATK test on the dock before boarding the boat.

                    We have to bring our own (approved) test kit.

                    I would feel better knowing everyone on the boat wasn’t infected.

                    Safety first.

                      Yesterday was the last dive in Thailand for a while. Before every dive everyone was required to pass ATK test just before boarding the boat.

                      Average water temp was about 27°C. Max depth on the last dive yesterday was 23.1 meters
