I've been to Angeles City dozens of times, but only went to Subic Bay once -- stayed one night and left.

The former is a fun, Wild West playground. The latter is a depressing sh!thole.

My only visit to Subic was long after the base had closed, and I wasn't wearing my bus driver threads. In hindsight, maybe that was my mistake.

Stole from the net. Norton not in sight. All the pics I took with my trusty Brownie 127 are long gone along with all sorts of memorabilia from the era. Kept all in a locked beautiful hand carved wooden box I purchased in Kaohsiung.
Some fool thief broke in the house and figured if locked must be some gold in there. He took the whole thing.
