The Philippines? A cesspit of germs and disease and folk that have no idea what simple hygiene is. Stop by the chemist and pick up some Imodium A-D before you board your flight, you will most certainly need it.

My GF is just as particular about her hygiene as any Thai that I've ever met. I'm not taking f u c k all for Imodium cuz I won't need it. Have you been there yet you limey brittle chav ?

There must be some tax reasons why the Fils hasn't been able to attract the capital. Thailand was the main bubble country in 1997 to though. It's always been this way. That's why I think it's structural. The Fils is also scattered which isn't appealing to big business.

I'm not trying to make the bigtimes though. But maybe this decade will be the decade it takes off. I'll be prospering on my trip

Although I have no details, my understanding is it is something greatly complex. See a few posts back where I quoted a link. The guy in that video is familiar with it and has good knowledge of whether or not setting up a business in the Phils is viable or not although you will have to quite a lot of listening to find it.

The PIs are lawless in many areas. The food is miserable fairly well everywhere. The infrastructure is abysmal . . .
