I probably would not live there, but I enjoy a trip upcountry now and again.
Of course it is quite ridiculous to refer to Isaan so stereotypically- we're talking of a sizable region that encompasses some 38% of Thailands population, and every lifestyle from Thailands second largest conurbation (Korat) to the smallest family hamlet (such as I lived in- permanent population of 5 when I left, plus a handful of FiFo's). I just take 'Isaan' to mean a stereotype for rural Thailand.
And what do foreigners mostly think of when you mention Thailand? Well that's quite simple- cheap sex, hot weather and beaches. Probably 'cus they don't have much of either.
That US constitution seriously needs revamping.

Bumrungrad is expensive but as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.
My wife had dental work done at Chula Hospital which is not that much cheaper than Bumrungrad and it was shite. Got it all reworked at Bumrungrad from a qualified oral surgeon.God, the panic within the Dems, MSM, and left must be horrifying...realizing that Joe is really the best they've got.
