First case, apparently, in the BC Interior...Woman in her thirties...
In case you're interested:
The British Columbia Interior, BC Interior or Interior of British Columbia, usually referred to only as the Interior, is one of the three main regions of the Canadian province of British Columbia, the other two being the Lower Mainland, which comprises the overlapping areas of Greater Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, and the Coast, which includes Vancouver Island and also including the Lower Mainland (from the perspective of the Interior).
It's a huge area, really, but it's the one I live in...

They won't specify exactly where she is...
Wow, that is young! There are quite a few in Canada now. 18 in Ontario where I am from and 27 in total across Canada.
What is kind of scary is that they brought 125 people from the Diamond Cruise ship that was docked near Yokohama, Japan to my hometown to be quarantined for 2 weeks last week. They were already quarantined on the ship for two weeks, but when they were flown back to Canada, they wanted to quarantine them for another 2 weeks. They are holding them at the Nav Center which is a training institute for air traffic controllers, but it is a huge place with nice rooms. So far, none of the 125 have tested positive for the Coronavirus, and they leave March 6th.

Curious....
How might all this suspicious frenzy be treated and looked upon if the make believe super-virus [not] had it's "origins" within the confined of the much beloved English-speaking West?
So we are to believe this world epidemic started from some unwashed chinks eating weird animals, bats and civet liver in a few filthy meat markets in Wuhan

Sounds like a load of bollocks to me.
Most certainly is.
...and other frenzied myths that are repeated loud and often enough.
It's not an epidemic. But it is terribly political in it's design.
Fully blown outta proportion.
Dumbed down, per usual.
Again.....have to inquire if this illness had originally developed in the English-speaking West, how might be the phony media/govts approach.
Yet.......it's THEM. Barbarian and traditional Yellow Peril.
Never mind any sort of reportage of the 500,000 that die every year from more contagious and stronger of strains.
Pope Francis has tested negative for coronavirus after canceling a retreat in the due to a cold, according to an Italian media report.
Vatican spokesman Matteo Bruni told Reuters that he had no comment on the report in the Italian newspaper Il Messaggero.
Francis was scheduled to take part in a week-long retreat with Vatican officials in the Roman countryside. He announced Sunday that he would miss the Lenten retreat for the first time in his papacy.
The 83-year-old pope also canceled most audiences last week has he recovered from a cold, Reuters reported, noting that he had part of a lung removed decades ago due to an illness.
Italy is currently battling an outbreak of the coronavirus. Fifty-two people have died from the virus as of Monday, and more than 2,000 cases have been confirmed in the country.: https://thehill.com/blogs/blog-brief...navirus-report
There was a huge uproar in my community as the government hadn't even let us know in advance before their arrival. Our MP wasn't even told until a week before it happened. To think there is a spa/restaurant and bar in there as well. The Canadians in quarantine were also given a parking lot to walk around in everyday. People I know were freaking out on facebook about the possibility of giving it to someone in our community et etc.. people really went overboard. My sister in law posted something negative on fb and my niece tried to educate her and she freaked out and it caused a fight.. lol.
So all those wearing masks think they already have it l suppose. After all, they are clearly following what 'experts' have suggested
Ya that's old news.
Yet... you still see many people just walking around with one on. I remember it was like that when I lived in China.. every second or third person just wore a mask for whatever. I thought it was a bit of a fashion statement at one point. I only wore a good one N95 When the pollution was out of control which was often and I still ended up with a respiratory problem.
