If you have medium high or high blood pressure.. I recommend losing weight to lower it.

Just losing 20 pounds (9 kilos) (in three months) my BP went from medium high to normal. No meds wanted here which is where I was headed. I'm pretty chuffed that I don't have to get on pills. Diet, exercise and healthy eating has helped.

    Well done.
I visited TC a few times as a guest but had to stop. It is a sickening place. - Aging One

Better to not become overweight / obese in the first place.

^Perhaps, but 30% of the world's population are overweight or obese today. Easy to tell people that, but this is the reality we live in.

^^Thanks Lamphun.. my main purpose of posting it was to help people and let them know that you can easily decrease your BP naturally without pills.

A reality of lack of self control, laziness, coupled with high sugar & fat content of many everyday foods

Those tubby kids fed by their doting parents on junk food and soda should be ashamed of themselves. A generation of immature spoilt kids breastfed until their late teens

Happens a lot here in Thailand

Indeed, and Keto also does a lot of other amazing things like lower your blood pressure and reverse fatty liver. Dr. Berry above has a ton of amazing videos. I watched most of them last night. He also has an hour program on Intermittent Fasting on his facebook channel. Check it out!

Happens everywhere it seems..and junk food is often cheaper than healthy food...sadly.
Sugar and bad carbs are very addicting as well.. addictive as crack/cocaine actually to a lower degree.

Only applies to those that are obsessed with the ideals of fashionable and fad dieting.

I think most people are aware that crap food can make you gain unhealthy weight and that being overweight or obese will probably raise your blood pressure. I've always thought that those who get into that situation anyway simply don't care or lack the willpower to prevent it, rather than it being from a lack of knowledge.

I was seriously underweight in my late 30s. Packed on a load of weight in my early 40s after a sports accident but lost it (7-8 kilos over where I should have been) within a year. These days I hover between 69-73 kilos and can never understand how others can let their weight increase to 20-100 kilos over where it should be, especially when they're young and (should be) active.

I guess you are allowed your opinion... but people gain weight for different reasons. Perhaps they don't care, aren't knowledgeable, addicted to sugar/carbs (check the video I posted above). Some people gain weight easier than others as well they have different genetics. Poor people buy cheaper processed food. There are many reasons and I wouldn't 100% blame laziness either. That can place a part as well, but people have their own reasons.

For me, I just gave up caring, and just ate the wrong foods and too many of them. I stopped and started going to the gym over the years. I was on a lot of fad diets and yo yo'd a lot. Changing habits have to be for life and many people that I know gain weight back after they lose a lot. It isn't always easy to lose weight, but it is easy to gain for some especially if you don't change your habits for life.

                              ^lol....I'm a cheeky monkey.

Anyway, I'm on a mission, I still have about 60 pounds I want to lose. Bloody hell! I vow to do it before I turn 50 and look as hot as I did 30 years ago.

Still have two years to go, but plan on getting there in way less than that at the rate I'm losing.
