  • the Coffee thread

Since the cold sudz are not a part of my life anymore I've been getting into Coffee more and more for taste, pleasure and yes, the energy it provides!

For a couple of years I've been drinking 3 cups of organic instant Belgian coffee at home but recently have been going around town ordering Robusta (all black). I've never been into Latte or Capuccinos but I'm going to dabble more for variety. Also, a buddy of mine has introduced me to Turkish coffee.

He orders it in the mail and has the unique mini-pot with the angles handle.

Anyone want to share their taste in coffee?

Anyone discover anything new they like?

A cafe near my place has a sign up saying they have Yemeni Coffee.

I'll try it late and give a report. I've never heard of it nor seen it before....but there is a history.

*note*.....Yemenese coffee is affordable to order and it's rated at some of the most highly rated coffee in the world.

              I love java.

I drink it black as tar too. Drinking black coffee puts lead in your pencil.

I drink 3-4 cups a day. I prefer the breakfast blend or any of the lighter colored stuff.

Dark roasts are trendy these days but it doesnt actually hit you as hard.

I like Italian food and they are also big into coffee. Of the expensive ones I tried , Italian was the best

Bullshit. Coffee and tea are good for you. It has anti oxidants in it and shit

My boss said when I was 16 that if you haven't started drinking coffee you haven't grown up yet. He was right. I always wondered what the big deal was until I tried my first cup a week later. Been a daily drinker ever since

I've had it 2-3 times in me life.

If you're into Espresso, do tell.
