I fokin loved The Good Life when I was a kid. It shaped me, more than any other TV programme. S1E1 was a revelation, even at the age of 4.

This is a popular program on the classic British comedy cable tv channel. It's aged quite well but I think that's due the quality actors & good script. A good example of escaping the rat-race to do your own thing, if you can afford to do so

Tis interesting that the UK's best two sitcoms ever, The Good Life and Only Fools, both centre around avoiding the 9-5 grind, although from very different viewpoints (middle class bohemians and working class wheeler dealers).
