A lot of them have no clue how to run a business, a typical example being a café with a very pleasant outdoor seating area in front of it that is completely ruined because they let half a dozen boneheaded Grab delivery bike riders loiter right next to it smoking and shouting dumb shit to each other when only a metre apart.

I have just employed the services of a florist to deliver some flowers, this being in The Philippines. It turned out to be a very long process

I first looked at the price of roses where I live, a shopping centre will sell a dozen for around $35. To send the same through a service such as Interflora to the PI was going to cost $250!

That wasn't going to happen so I used Facebook Market to find a florist in the provincial nieghbourhood where the girl lived in Mindanao. I managed to find 1 but from the get-go I had little control over the flower selection I desired and I ended up just 'going with the flow' becasue at no time did they listen to what I wanted. In the end I was offered 2 dozen roses for $65 so I jumped at that just get the transaction done

The final question from them was, "When would you like the flowers to be delivered?". I said any day during the week as she works from home. They said, "Sorry no can do as we only deliver on weekends". Hahaha
