^Stop your rambling.

I believe you fish and if so, you probably have been fishing for a while. Share some real fishing experiences. Maybe start when you were a kid and work your way up. Could be interesting/entertaining.

You have plenty of room on this thread, but do the readers a favor,………one post, one story.

Whatshername loves fish and the guys and guests know it and will bring her fish when she’s in the states.

I have to clean it. Largemouth bass below. She will not eat large bass, but she got three meals from the one fish below.

OK, so I used to do a bit of trolling.

So I took my " stepson " out one early morning for a bit of Salmonella on the great lake the call Gitcha goodies. It's all good being in the dark on a calm night however, and this was before I had a cell phone with GPS, we headed out of the north gap under the stars and were miles east of the of the breakwall trolling.
Several hours passed and the sun rose however we found ourselves in thick fog. Now I had a compass and a depth gauge but no visibility beyond thirty or forty yards. The plan was at this time to not panic the boy and simply head west. No big deal as eventually we'd hit land.
We were in about forty feet of water when I could make out Bradford Beach and knew to head south. We found the break wall and followed it south to the north gap. With plenty of fuel left we made it in.
That day on the way home I stopped by a sporting goods store and bought the best navigation gear I could afford.
And a few rolls of TP..

Not at the moment. Fixen one of the cribs. You know, so I can cry myself to sleep tonight.
I had a few window/ siding guys out to look at this 1930s stuff. They wanted like three times more than I paid for the whole kit and kabootle just for vinyl and windows.
I said Microsoft runs itself so now I'm on disk drive.

On a brighter tone...a serious note these houses have character unlike say a fish but just the same we collect them and leave them out to dry.
