Rain......all day rain. Followed by a deluge of heavy rain....then a steady drizzle.

My part of England had its first rain for 8 weeks yesterday. It'll take a lot more to turn the yellow grass back to green. Another heatwave on the way later this week.
Seriously considering fitting aircon for sleeping purposes if this is the shape of things to come.
I see tropical highland cities becoming much more popular in SE Asia as the world heats up.Comment

England is well into its third month of Mediterranean weather this summer. The Brits are loving it. I'd think it was amazing if I spent my winters here and was craving sun, but this is supposed to be my 'winter' away from 30 celcius tropical heat, so I'd prefer low 20s to this. It feels very much like the Thai cool seasonComment
