If, however, it means being anything like as lively and worth visiting as it was in the near past, then it's not so much 'doing fine' as 'utterly shit and three-quarters dead already'. On the second interpretation, a collapse in the forum's Alexa ranking from a high of around 15,000 to its current dismal position of 230,000 would seem to support this. Still, those who enjoy the lively exchange of well-informed and clearly expressed ideas bouncing between intellectual titans such as you, Terry, Jeff and Piwanoi will be in for a treat, won't they.

I really enjoyed TD back in the day. There were some great posters and some heated, but fun discussions. Even Butters and Stroller made the place great. Ray Fairy and Jeff can hang it up, but I wish about 100 of the best of the best posters from those days were here. It could be a nice reunion.

in their defense, it has been going down for a while, before the take over, that is around 2009,

the mods politics in the backroom started to ruin the place as some mods stopped posting because they were mad of other mods (Hillbilly and Frankie were apparently into a fight, dragging other mods with them, can't remember the silly details, ChiangMai Noon was also in between)

When mods start to fight over silly shit and petty politics, publicly or not, the forum place will suffer from it.

I still go there. Yes some of the old "you're gay" "no I'm not" nonsense has gone but those threads were just simplistic anyway.
I don't see this forum as any better or worse.
