A Thai family's Shopping Trolley

While at Tesco Lotus Ive never personally ever seen any of these things in a Thai family's shopping trolley

1. Tin of beaked beans

2. Potatoes

3. Loaf of sliced bread

4. Yoghurt

5. Condoms

6. Shrink pack of Bacon

7. Box of Wall's ice cream

8. Pork Chops

9. Box of tea bags

10. Bar of Kit Kat chocolate

11. Spray on glass / window cleaner

12. A pack of Lotus brand biscuits

13. Pack of cooked ham

14. French stick bread ( baguettes )

15. Tin of Campbell's soup

16 . Tin of Tuna

17. Box of kellogg's corn flakes

18. Sachet of salad cream

19. Bottle of mouthwash

20. Beef Steak

22. Bag of frozen chips ( french fries)



These things are not what I would call only for '' foreigners '' stuff




Why don't I see them

I don't make it a point to check out what other people are buying. It's none of my business. I wish the reverse were true. They love to inspect my cart.

I've considered placing a party-pack of condoms and a large bucket of ASTRO LUBE on top of my shopping and just cruising around the grocery for comedic relief.

While leaning on my shopping trolley at the checkout , I'm all ways glancing to see what people have bought , a bit nosey I know and more curiosity than any thing , ive on many occasions while scanning other shoppers trolleys spotted some thing that looked interesting and I thought I would look for on the next shopping trip.

Used to slip a packet of condoms into women's trolly's in supermarkets. Best reaction at the checkout was when we did it to 4 nun's. They all suspected each other of buying them. It was real funny. Maybe you had to be there.

Don't shop at Tesco's
All the above can be purchased at your local Home mart/Fresh mart except the Lotus brand biscuits and French Baguettes.
Perhaps the reason as to why you don't see them in any Thai shopping trolley is because of their culinary eating habits.
