  • In the company of foul mouthed people

May be I'm just an old fuddy duddy dinosaur from a gone by era , but as some one who was raised to not use offensive swear words or profanity , I all ways find it uncomfortable to be in the presence of foul mouthed people , a few days ago I was sitting in my local bar just chatting away to several good friends and generally enjoying their banter and conversation , sat next to us were two English guy's I think in their forties . As the time went on their conversations got louder and the obscenities and bad language never stopped . Now I know it seems to be some sort of a trend to use the F word in films and TV shows , but these two guys seemed to have no thought or care for other people around them .

How do you feel about being in the company of foul mouthed people , does it upset you ?

I don't like being around loud mouths regardless of what they are saying or what language they speak.

Unfortunately it is a sign of the times, and the worst profainers of the lot have become the young girls.

In my experience it was always the Germans and antipodeans had the biggest gobs.

To day while out shopping I stood in the check out line and behind me was a large obese heavily tattooed English guy with a small petite Thai woman and a young baby in a push chair , the guy was F'ing this and F'ing that to the Thai woman , and giving the her a hard time about how much the child's powdered milk cost , the crap some women have to put up with !!.

I would agree to some point , if you can't fling a few swear words in fun to your mates while having a drink in a bar ,what's the world coming to , but many times ive sat in a bar where the bad language was way beyond a joke and any kind of normal human decency .

Preceptor of human decency, where do I apply?

Working in the O and G industry, you get used to cussing and fighting. I try not let that follow me to the real world, but slip up and curse now and again. Thai people really do not notice unless you drop and F bomb.
