I drove to Chaing Mai up Hwy #1 which still hasn't been completed yet! The north bound side is a complete disaster from Nakhon Sawon to Kamphaeng Phet.
The drive back was a little better - stayed in the Riverside Hotel in Tak overnight the 13th after hearing the tragic news re the King.
Sorry, no pictures - next time!
God, the panic within the Dems, MSM, and left must be horrifying...realizing that Joe is really the best they've got.
I bought a new computer Friday and spent much of the weekend setting it up. I had forgotten many passwords. My old Dell dinosaur finally carked it after 15 years of almost daily use. My new desktop is 1/3 the size with 10x the storage and processing speed. I have a two year old laptop I use as backup, and also back-up important stuff with a thumb drive. I worked myself into a feeding frenzy of cleaning, throwing away tons of junk in desk drawers, paper maps, old instruction booklets, dead flashlights, old CDs, power cables, dusty electronic thingamajigs and an old moniter. My office looks new. Classes start again Monday.
I the CEO and CFO. Very small operation. 3 old beetle nut chewing aunties. Amazing process from breeding worms to finshed silk sarong. All done using home made silk spinner and weaver.
If you're ever down my way will take you on a VIP tour of the err.. factory.
Yes. Mulberry leaves home grown.
They even make their own dye using tradition methods.
I spent the weekend out on my favorite island. Scored some ganga, stayed pleasantly stoned and drunk the whole time. Swam in the ocean and ate some excellent food from the resident gourmet chef.
First time out there in low season, I happenned to be the first guest followed by a group of French and an englishman regular.
Lots of fun, sorry no pics and I'm keeping the location secret.
