I have between 20 and 40 years left and, according to the link to the link at the bottom of the page, will die of cancer or a circulatory problem.
Sod that, I'm going to live for another 50 years and die of a sexually transmitted disease.

May be , just may be her new partner will be so wealthy that all your stuff will be considered poor quality and cheap only to end up being loaded onto the old plastic bottle collectors cart , and her new hansom rich and attentive young man will whisk her off to a new life of luxury

Is it obligatory to say something, or may I just fok off without entertaining those who come to see me for once?
Maybe I shall mumble something for them to figure out and have a good last laugh myself - "the gold & the diamonds, roses are red, apples are green, behind the ..the.. in the garden, deep, dig deep, Franklin, green... green bundles, upstairs, floorboards"

The comment about having children to still raise is a good and valid point , Ive met many older retired expats who started a family in Thailand and generally it seems that once the child / children arrive it gives them a boost in life , so may be its on their mind to try and stay healthy and be around as long as they can to see their offspring grow up.
On the other side of the staying alive as long as possible coin , I have met a few expats like the 70 year old Australian , who look like they were on the path to self destruction (fast foods + wine + women + cigarettes + non existent exercise )
But I all so had a friend back home who was top class cyclist and a health freak , he passed away at age 50 from a heart attack .

I am convinced that when our time eventually arrives to depart to where ever dead people may go, its going to be better if we for one last time climb into our comfy bed and happily drift off to sleep thinking about all the things we are going to do tomorrow when we wake up , But we never actually ever wake up again.
What a wonderful way to go .

This is kinda cool:
What Does It Feel Like To Be 80 Years Old Knowing That Death Is Imminent?http://cavemancircus.com/2017/08/29/...eath-imminent/
My father lived to 87 and his biggest beef before he died was all his buddies had passed away and he had no real friends left.

Beer mightn't make you live longer, but it certainly makes the time more enjoyable.
