Was reading an article recently that might help push negotiations along to bring a lifting of the embargo.

      Tourist Visa (Tourist Card)

The Tourist Visa or Tourist Card is only for purposes of tourism to Cuba. It is valid for one single entrance into national territory for a 30-day trip and can be extended for an additional 30 days at the office in the hotel where one has accommodations or with the immigration authority.

      and some US related news

The new Treasury Department rules have not yet been released, but a White House statement suggests that educational travel to Cuba will now be covered by a "general license," which means tour operators - and perhaps individuals, depending on how the regulations are written - will be able to head to Cuba and simply give the U.S. government their word that they're not engaging in ordinary tourism.

Travelers may simply have to sign a form and board a charter flight, making it easier and cheaper to visit the island, experts say.

"As long as, with integrity, they can say they're going to engage with the Cuban people and learn about Cuba and talk about the United States then they don't have to do anything other than say that's what they're doing," said John McAuliff, executive director of the Fund for Reconciliation and Development, which has organized trips in the past.

Majority of Cuban-Americans in favor of lifting embargo

FIU has conducted the survey among Cuban-Americans in Miami every few years since 1991, and the results have altered drastically over the past two decades.

The poll shows that 68 percent of Cuban-Americans are now in favor of reestablishing diplomatic relations with Cuba, possibly because they feel that the embargo has done little to help Cuban citizens.

Aren't Cuba supposed to be sponsors of terrorism still, in the US govt eyes.

US policy is we don't do trade with terrorist states.?

Another country about to lose its itself in greedy western values.

I don't think Cuba was labelled a 'terrorist state' . . . and Cuba has been suffering long enough, nothing to do with 'greedy western values'

The girlfriend suggested a schedule for our visit to Cuba. It will be a two week visit after the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil (http://www.olympic.org/rio-2016-summer-olympics), if everything goes as planned. That is if America and Cuba get their sh-it together about Americans traveling to Cuba.

The Olympics will be held Aug. 5thth

You may find Cuba has been on the US sponsors of terrorism list since 1982.

And yes there about to be bombarded with western values, that will turn a once beautiful country into another shit hole.

I thinks it normalized now, thanks in part to slick willy when he asked (in between getting his dick sucked by Monicka, who btw he didn't have sex with) but at least he asked WTF is this all about and someone replied, we have a beef with these sheep shaggers because the wouldn't let our boats Park in their Marina, willy replied screw this, get real NZ fought along side us 3 conflicts and even now they are helping us bomb the bejesus out of those dreaded Muzzis.
So everything is has been normalized. Although I still think they have to declare if ships are Nuke or non Nuke.
Mind you, what are they going to do about it if the Ronald Reagan steams in at full throttle and doesn't obey the police man? ( you cant park here son, until you have filed out the right forms)
Canadians named the Whitehouse. They burnt it down and the Seppos painted it white to make it look intact from a distance.

                    I stand corrected on point 1 - thank you . . . and

. . . hope that this won't happen as Cuba has been a tourist destination for Europeans for quite a while. (My brother an chis wife being two of them)

Considering the "special relationship", this development will have been cleared by London, won't it?
