How are the Swannies doing nowadays?

They were my team while there for a few years 15 years ago. Adam goodes
, Tadhg Kennelly and Big Bad Barry Hall were the men of the day.

Was in Thailand in 2006 (I think) they won the GF. It was always the Lions' when I was out there.

Really good game. Loved that it was all about movement and where the player's gonna be by the time the egg gets to him.

The season is only in it's second round. The Swans are due to play today at 4.40pm (local time), 12.40 (Thai time) against Port Adelaide. They won last week and presently are sitting 6th on the ladder. They won their last premiership in 2012. They also played in the Grand Final in 2014 and 2016 but were beaten.

The Lions are struggling for the last few years. Melbourne beat them yesterday, hence my original post.

Will look forward to the Geelong Hawthorn game. They are always good contests and the game should be closer than expected as Geelong have an undermanned back line due to injury. However, on the brighter side they have one of the best midfields of all time.

To know you have grown up in Victoria and having been able to follow the best sport in the world shows you have won lifes' lottery.

Tough match for Melbourne today against Hawthorn, they've had the wood over the demons for a while now.

    Hmm,

Melbourne plays Essendon today. Don't know who'll win this one, might be a close one.

    Go Dees.

Well, after sitting down in 12th on the ladder only three weeks ago the gentlemen of the Melbourne Football Club have been mighty impressive since then.

Last week they made it to 6th and now after this weekends games they sit on 3rd.

I just hope that they can continue in their latest winning form.
