  • Naitcha wot is seen 'ere in LOS

I couldn't find a suitable spot to put this thread, there not been a nature or wildlife section, so I thought I'd put this here.

My girlfriend and I made a road trip to Phayao yesterday for lunch and came across a couple of interesting creatures.

    First up.
    P_20180901_121343.jpg
A banded krait, highly venomous (deadly).

    Secondly,
    P_20180901_145115.jpg
A radiated rat snake, aka copperhead racer.

Previously I have come across these chappies.

A spitting cobra who was trying to hide in the hole where my septic tank is, during the construction of my house earlier this year.

    A sunbeam snake.

What creatures have you guys seen lately?

Surprised a green snake with burnt tail last week.
Don't know its real name but the MIL has been bitten by them twice and had to stay in hospital 3 nights both time with wifey sleeping on the Florence to her.

Anyway, killed it since to dangerous to let live around the house.

A Cockroach whose DNA's been altered by all the chemicals here in LOS...

On a lake island in Sakon Nakon last year, very intimidating indeed. About 4cm

Spotted him while watering the garden this morning. Kukri snake, not venomous but leaves a nasty bite.

Anyone in the Chiang Mai area want a date palm or two?
