Did moving to Thailand change you in any way?

For those expats that have moved to Thailand, did moving here change you in any way?

Quality of life? Better or worse?
    Health wise? Better or worse?
    Weight? Up or down?
Diet? More Thai less, western, healthier etc
    Mentally or outlook on life?
    Less stress or more stress?
Drinking more or less alcohol or other so called vices?
    Or other any other way?

No changes in the weather - no changes in me.

Do have a greater appreciation for Junta's though...

Seeing Mao's replies spurs moi to better answer the questions:

Quality of life? Better or worse? About the same.
Health wise? Better or worse? About the same.
Weight? Up or down? No change
Diet? More Thai less, western, healthier etc All Thai here, boys!
Mentally or outlook on life? 'bout the same
Less stress or more stress? Much less stress
Drinking more or less alcohol or other so called vices? Probably a bit more booze.
Or other any other way? No other vices.

    I've been here 15 years.
    Thailand has changed a lot.
    Earl has changed a lot.

Former Earl; wild/drunken 5 go-go-girl all night orgies...big moto fanatic.

Earl today, Bicycling, sober, meditation and contemplates beautiful butterfly aviators with utter fascination.

I have lived in Thailand for short times, but have visited since 2005. Thailand has made me professionally and physically better as I did my CELTA there in 2006, spent a few months living in BKK. I also learned how to Muay Thai fight and have been to Thailand three times to train mostly for physical exercise. I always enjoy my visits to Thailand the Thai people I have met are lovely, the food is great, and the weather/beaches I enjoy.
