If you're interested in following up my suggestion of Chumphon,......... I stayed at the Albatross Guesthouse which is a short walk from White Beach (which is a bit under 20 kms north west from Chumphon city, about midway between the city and the airport).

If you want to stay in a nicer hotel in that area then try the Chumphon Cabana Resort & Diving Centre, which is located right on the beach. Maybe they may even pick up guests from the airport. Also in the village which is White Beach there are a few other hotels and resorts, plenty of choice.

I visited TC a few times as a guest but had to stop. It is a sickening place. - Aging One

          Damn straight!

Nobody goes to Suphan for the touristy thing although there is a nice zoo up near Chi Nat next to a rather large natural lake.
God, the panic within the Dems, MSM, and left must be horrifying...realizing that Joe is really the best they've got.

Thanks, Palexxxx! I will plan it as it comes, but good to know about this area. I really hope to do a yoga retreat somewhere in Thailand next summer. Maybe i'll even do one in Chiang Mai as I know there are a few good places there as well.

^ Let me know if you do get to CNX. If I'm still here maybe we could meet for a drink or two.

^Ha, that would be wild, we should also say hi to CMN, and whoever else is up there, Earl and Boonmee maybe? We can have a little meetup ! I'll let ya know as it is a ways off.

I may ask more questions as the time draw near. I was thinking of getting a single entry visa as opposed to just the 30 visa on arrival because if I want to stay longer than a month it would have to be that way.

Well Chiang Mai is now on my list of places as I have been wanting to get up there for a very long time.
I know exactly what I will do there including yoga, farmtotable organic cooking class, and some hikes. Any recommendations on easy treks (1/2 to full day) ? I know a few friends in CM that I hope to see including Palexxxx now.

^ Warning! A lot of the teakdoor members & moderators with well categorised mental problems live there so be careful who you meet & don't stay too long. I think the pollution in Chiang Mai rots their brain

What is with women having to go overseas to do yoga holiday retreats when they can do this sort of thing perfectly well at home? You should go to India & immerse yourself in it there

Or, S. America and immerse yourself in the 'organic' culture as did our very own Dr. Earl!

Haha, ya I know about a lot of people from CM on TD.. but I am not just going for the yoga that's for sure. I love CM as I've been there once before. I want to experience all of it.. the food, art scene, cooking classes, mountain hikes, biking, and yoga of course. I can do yoga here for sure, but I am going on a vacation.. perhaps stay even longer . I may spend time in CM and also in the south, and Bangkok.

May be going sooner than later to Thailand.. was offered a job up north. Perhaps in a few months, and if not for the next school year.

It's yesterday's news. Vietnam and the Philippines are the go to places these days. Working up north will take years off the life expectancy of your lungs - a polluted landlocked shithole.

^Not for me actually, and I've been to the other places you mention. It isn't in the city you think it is, and the pay/benefits are great in that I can travel throughout the country on breaks and nearby countries very easily. I wouldn't want to teach in the Philippines, there aren't that many great jobs there. I have a few friends that have worked in the few good schools there. I also have friends that have taught in Vietnam. I stayed in Vietnam for a month and wouldn't want to live there (travel yes). If I was a man just travelling around maybe those two places would be good, but I'm not in the same category.

That last statement is prejudice against the LGBTQI+ community Moose. You've just told them they can't be whatever sex they choose to be, or feel they are on any given day...male, female or non-binary. You've stated they must be categorised as male or female. How could you be so cruel?
