Ya, don't think I'm going to Thailand now. I don't want to travel by air or go in any airports at the moment or even in the near future with this coronavirus around. I'm staying put for now. No big loss anyway.. I can make more money in Canada and eventually travel there if I wanted in the future.
Have my eye on other places to travel in the future. Thailand has lost its luster for moi.

Think of all the fun you'd be missing - hooking up with all your good friends from TD.
        Oh well...

The school is a decent international school with good pay. If I get it i'd go early August.

You didn't get the decent international school job with good pay then?

^I just decided not to go. I stopped applying and interviewing altogether. I was thinking of my car payments and what I would do on that front, and then all this Coronavirus stuff came about. So, for now I'll stay put. Things change, people change, that's life.

Car payment. Now I'm starting to feel sory for you.
I wouldn't get on a plane either. Nora bus. Hey wasn't that a member here?
No, silly me. That was over at weakdoor. ....Bleakdoor. Noratitoff or something like that.

Stay well and hell I may post some prepandemic pics here. But first I gotta clean the pool again.

I can't wait to retire. I can get AO to maintain the PH.
Lord knows he could use the money. 50 cent army.

^Hi Fish... yes feel sorry for me.. lol. I lost my job mid March due to Covid so I'm getting help from the government and thankfully still making my car payments.
I don't know when i'll visit Thailand now. Maybe next summer, but not sure yet. I hope you are well. hehe

^ Sorry to hear that Moose. I have worked through however we have not seen a downturn in our business. It's just plain bad luck if you happen to be an A380 pilot or own a little tourist business

At least countries that have a large tourist industry such as Thailand will learn not to take tourists for granted in future, as I feel they have done for some time. Earning the tourist dollar is some of the easiest money around compared to other industries

Thanks for promoting the brand Pissflaps

"Zespri shares traded at $8.20 each on the Unlisted platform at time of writing, giving the group a market capitalisation of $1.5b"

"Zespri International Limited is the world’s largest marketer of kiwifruit. Zespri was formed as a co-operative of kiwifruit growers in New Zealand in 1997. Its international headquarters are in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand"

If you had the corporate qualifications & experience of someone like Smeg you could even get a job here

However you seem to have wasted your opportunities in your own back yard. Foolish

Mount Maunganui...a little out of your reach now old man

                            Oh no!
Yet another thread hi-jacked by butthurt Tony to wreak its puerile vengeance.

Thanks, Tinkles. That is good you have worked throughout the pandemic. With how bad Covid still is in many countries, I can't see many people flying internationally until they have a vaccine (hopefully next year). The USA-Canadian border is still closed and hopefully stays closed for awhile. We have it under control, but the US certainly doesn't. By the way, if you do indeed work in the Kiwi business please send some over.. hehe..
