  • Pink ID Card

    Daft question I'm sure.

I understand there are some benefits in carrying one but wondered about the reporting issue. Would one still need to report when leaving a province and report when returning? Or does this have no relevance? I am curious from a traveling by motorcycle point of view not that I'd go through the hassle or stay in one place long enough to need to report. I intend to do more traveling this year northward. I have a yellow book which I believe helps in getting a pink ID if it's at all worth it.

The Pink Card is, w/out exaggeration, the best ID the Farang can have.

No need to lug around the Yellow Book or a copy of which. The PC (Pink Card) resides in your wallet just like the DL and can be used for a vast array of benefits.

Thai price on National Park admissions. At the bank, no need for showing the passport etc.

Roll on into your local Amphur office with the Yellow Book in hand and depending on human traffic in there, you'll roll back out of there with the PC in 30 minutes time.

And, depending on whether you're on the north side of 60 years, the PC is a lifetime card. Doesn't expire.

Re reporting - who is going to cite you have left home? Your dogs?
God, the panic within the Dems, MSM, and left must be horrifying...realizing that Joe is really the best they've got.

Yes, I realise on the reporting issue. 47-years old so I guess worth it as I often turn around when charged the park rates. Not due to cost just principle. Cheers
