      I've only ever been to the extremes.
      Johor Bahru and Langkawi. I visited Singapore in the 90s and took a three day jaunt through JB. During tsunami relief we (USAF) were based out of Langkawi for about three weeks, making daily runs into Medan and up to Banda Aceh. USAF controllers opened the airport and directed traffic for some time before it was stabilized. I hope to take my family to KL within the coming year. I'd like to go by rail. The jungle line to Singapore also looks interesting. I've been reading up on this site which is informative.
