Where do you want the forum to be.?

As i have read the forum was opened as a alternative to TD, and friends were invited and friends of friends.

I am wondering do you only wish the forum to have a small following or do you want to have many members with differing personalities.?

I have no expectations, but would like to have some day have a lot of members and lots of activity. Let's face it, if all we have is 10 or 20 active members, this place would be as boring a rice field mooban in Isaan.

I wish you well, though currently the posters seem to be hedging there bets,making the move other to another forum they should at least try and give it a boost and get posting or as you say only having 10 to 20 the forum is bound to become a graveyard.

The overall participation of forums has dwindled considerably over the last couple of years.

Jeff, forums take time to grow. You can't expect to join a new forum and expect it to have a 1000 new posts a day. Its up to us to post too rather than bitch and complain.

it will depend on the moderation level and the posters,

don't think it will last long though, SZ went through the same stages and ended in tears

not sure what happened to TD and who is behind it, but maybe political forum fatigue could explain it all

Where do I want the forum to be?

Well, lets start with at thailandchatter.com for more than a year before it is replaced with "domain for sale" like most of the other start ups.

Beyond that - no bloody mods apart from deleting spam and adverts. Let it roll - don't **** about with politically motivated mods deleting everything they do not agree with.

Oh, and maybe the forum can throw us a party with strippers and free ale?
