When you live in an area long enough and have tried a few dozen local restaurants you eventually end up with a few favorites and forget the rest. Sometimes you try a new place but are often disappointed. However, sometimes you get lucky and add another to your trap lines.
We stumbled into ' One Tree Hill ' the first time by mistake because Ms Bangyai has no sense of direction and thought it was ' Im Pla Pow ' instead. Never mind , turned into a lucky error.
Not too cheap but in two visits been most impressed with the quality of the food. Pretty good atmosphere too with an outside garden plus crooner or air conditioned section. Also have a few fancy Karaoke rooms which we plan to try on my birthday bash . Just hoping they have ' knees up mother brown ' on the playlist.
Meal for 4 ( plus child ) last night was 8 dishes and two beers ( bought our own wine as no corkage charge ). The salmon sashimi was a bit hefty at 350 baht but was worth it as a treat. All the other dishes were also seafood and the final bill was 2100 baht. Reasonable.
A long way out of the city but if you are in Nonthaburi worth a visit.
