  • How to keep busy in Korat.

So if one was to end up in Korat at the In laws home for a month, what would you suggest the best way to avoid deep depression? Like the Inlaws, they do not speak English and me no Thai so I am a little lost. Been to the mall and a few ruins not sure what else to do?

      With all due respect.....that's pathetic.
      Even more predictable.

I think he's saying that HE will be at the PiL's place in Korat for a month and will be bored to tears . . . reasonable question on his part to ask what there is to do around Korat

          - read
          - bring a laptop and watch a lot of movies
          - sleep
          - drink

that normally gets me through a few days at my in laws.

Why not be social with the family, friends, and neighbors?

            Nice concept, eh?

Hope you can read. Yes they want to spend time with their daughter and she with them. On previous visits they fall over backwards trying to be nice. As I said they are great!!!!!!

Have you ever been to Korat? Not very inspiring as a tourist destination. I was hoping that by making myself scarce for a few hours I could....... Bollocks why am I trying to explain myself to you.

Your worthless opinion that my request for information was pathetic I can understand. That it is predictable would presume you know me which is nonsensical as you do not. Anyway frig off and be rude to someone who cares what you think.

                PS

My Mrs thought it would be a good idea so her Mum and dad do not stress out. Also she would not always be worried about trying to include me. God you are not that bright are you!!

Explore the city and its eateries, take pics and report in a thread for the benefit of the friendly members of the forum.

Even a nice family - neighborhood picy thread would work....

If anything, force him to be social.

You really are as dumb as you sound. The post was obviously too complicated for you. Anyway go play with Socal you two have much to talk about. You sound like a complete tool, who has little to offer the world.

Sure will do that, without being attacked for wanting to do something out side the IL House, is their a meeting spot to watch sports, or a good park or sports centre? My Mother in law is a devote buddist so only has the same TV stations and no drink allowed. Just wondering?

I have a house on the immediate outskirts of Korat City and find it to be the hidden gem of Thailand. I could literally live off the fruit growing there and it has a nice wall all the way around the farm to keep the riffraff out!
