It's been mostly cool and pissing down for the last couple of weeks, with a few hailstone showers thrown in for good measure. Some sunny days to come now though according to the weather forecast.
But it's still better than that boiling hot, humid, oppressive, sweaty weather one has to negotiate in Thailand. I can only handle that in short scutches.Comment

The weather here is some thing that certainly at times gets to me , I have fond memories of wintery Sunday mornings wearing a large duffle coat , knitted scarf , gloves and wellingtons . Then taking my beloved Whippet bitch for a long walk in the local the fields and along the frozen canals , breathing in the crisp cold bracing winter air , some how made me feel more alive .
