It was a nice morning. This afternoon will be a different story.

We had a cold snap with some snow the other day. Of course we are used to that and ice fishing. No troubles with the grid or roads ect.
I feel for the folks down in Texas as they were not to blame for the power outages. However the people in power are. Hell everyone up here has a back-up generator and most outside of the cities have wood burning stoves or fireplaces.
I've gone so far as to collect ( as a hobby) old oil lamps. Have about a dozen just for fun. They light the place up and throw off a little heat but I've never had a power loss that we needed them for.
On our last trip over to Laos we brought some Coleman lanterns that burn white gas ect. We use them for night fishing.Comment
