Nah, it's quite common to bring along a chaparone, specially on a first date.

I've been in Bangkok for quite some time but I haven't experience river cruise in Bangkok. I would definitely want to bring my partner there and I think it will be a romantic one.

Many years ago they had a dinner cruise up the Chao Prayah in a massive rice boat. Maybe 30 diners and about the same number of staff and entertainers (musicians and traditional dancers). I think it was 1500 baht each and lasted about 3 hours. It was interesting and the food was exceptional.

Did you check to see how many life jackets they had available before you set off?

The better half and I went on the same cruise by the look of the boat. It was a great night, and we both very much enjoyed it - especially the Thai Elvis singing. BUT - I recommend that you do not get one of the tables on the top deck unless very close to the front/stage. It seemed to be an acceptable thing that people from the lower decks could come onto the top deck, and stand right in front of your table blocking the view to the band, or sit on the edge of the boat on the railing and block your view of the river/shore. I of course asked the person seemingly 'in charge' to please at least stop people sitting on the railing in front of our table and blocking our views. They put some chairs there to stop people climbing up, and of course the next time we came back from the buffet 'they' had taken the chairs and set them up right in front of us and completely blocked the views. Recommend getting a table/seat inside only - dont pay for the top deck.
If I dont respond it is because: A) Libtard; B) Blocked Libtard; C) Playing Golf
