I thought I'd share a few photos of the butterflies I snapped during my wandering around the local village. Apart from a few ventures into secondary woodland, the majority are taken from the roadside or land around the local ponds. It isn't really the season for butterflies and they can alter colours considerably in the dry season but I was surprised how many were around.
I am still learning to identify the different species in Thailand and so there may be a few errors in the naming. Feel free to correct them as you see fit.

I have nearly 50 species so I'll post them as and when I have time. Feel free to add any that you happen to find and I will try and identify them if I can.
