The reason I ask, is that growing up in London I met Jews from almost every country in the world. But the first time I met an Israeli Jew was on Khao San Road at the age of 30. Watching telly it would seem that most Jews are Israelis, but that's not been my experience at all. I reckon the non-Israeli Jewish population outnumbers the Israeli Jew population massively.
