  • Isaan cities with the largest farang populations

Which cities have the most farangs in Isaan? Korat, Surin, Khon Kaen, Ubon Ratchatani, or where?

Think the question would be more pertinent with the word have in quotation marks

Which cities "have" the most farangs in Isaan?

When I went to Korat visiting the wife's family , I did see quite a few foreigners mostly accompanied by a Thai woman , I thought Korat was a nice place

Kinda "sad", ain't it be! Ya suppose he manages to convey such petty distinctions to his Thai students? No wonder they have trouble with "engrish".

          Back on "topic"!

My guess would Ubon Rachathani, just because it is by far the largest of the Issan cities.

My wife keeps telling me ( trying to persuade me to move there ) that Korat is Thailand's second largest city , not sure if that's really correct

Not that I am an expert on anything Thai, but I have some experience of spending time in Korat and I would resist any attempt to set up shop there. Ably assisted by my Korat wife

                Hee Hee,

Did consider a future as a Thai tefler about 15 years back, but came to my senses and pursued gainful employment, which then allowed me to purchase my retirement property in Pattaya

                  Still swigging Earl ?

Have in in the context of "get the better of" as opposed to "contain"

                  Lateral thinking, what!
