  • Jackfruit

I only recently discovered this delectable treat.

Said to be super healthy, yet at the same time super tasty, though kinda wierd looking.

(I forgot how to post a pic from this tablet device.)

    WTF!
This was simply idle chat about fruit, not about planting a foking tree!

Could the moderator grow a foking brain?

Jackfruit is OK if you get somebody else to clean the damn things.
I buy it already packaged/ready to eat.

Mangos are still the King of fruit.
God, the panic within the Dems, MSM, and left must be horrifying...realizing that Joe is really the best they've got.

I think the Thais call Durian the kings of fruits.
The queen of fruits is the mangosteen.

Think more Thais consider the Mango king of fruits. Could be wrong on this point. Need a survey but anyhow, this years was a bumper crop year for everything - Mango, Jackfruit & Durian. The trees really pumped out!

Amazing what a little quick research browsing will do.

Related, toying with the idea of expanding on the illusive breadfruit.

I eat jackfruit sometimes. About half the time it is tasty and half the time tasteless. I don't know why. Are there different varieties? Or is it due to different ripeness levels?

More often than not, local "market" jackfruit is harvested too early before it's true time, therefore appearing to be under ripe - because it is.

Best to take this lovely fruit when naturally ripened - home, family, friends trees.
