In my opinion it's fine to make noise in public places, but there should be respect for others.

You're welcome.
The next stage is viewing the World openly, looking within, and changing your perceptions.

Dogs barking constantly in the yard next door now- at the boom boom thud of 'music' from 50 yards up the road. This music has not happened for a while but it rattles the windows in the houses nearer. I think we are the only people who ever complained and the response was I only have it this loud cos the bloke in the next street has his on loud, what about him then. The bloke opposite lives outside, only seems to go in to sleep, watches the tv with the door open with the sound right up. This is better than when he moved the stereo outside and played it every night. mrs had a word with him and the stereo went back in, but he never spoke to us since, I hate these fukers.

Kreng Jai is nonsense of course, it only comes into action if there is some face to be gained in showing how considerate you are, driving, making a racket, pushing in a line and disturbing others in all sorts of ways seem to be off limits where it's concerned. These shits only seem to be kreng jai with the people they consider their social superiors, it's that backward ass licking up the spectrum again.

Talking to each other loudly.
After-market car exhausts.
Referring to you as farang.
They don't perceive them as issues, as disrespect, or anything negative.
It's your perception that they are, that gets you all hot and bothered and angry. The problem is an inner one. Look inside, to help improve your life.
isn't my problem.
Good luck. I believe you can do it!

To them there's nothing untoward about it at all.
See, it's your inability to perceive how the 'offenders' perceive their actions that is causing you so much angst.
Journey inward.
Open your mind and grow.
Be a better Exexpat.
I believe that you can do it.
