    Yes.

When you arrive at the National Park pay booth you have the option of paying for the park and going left, or going ahead free, to ferry.

They have just started to tarmac some of the of the road to the ferry. Shame, I liked that little off road bit.

But around Chiang Mai is better.

    What bike are you riding?

Ninja 400 when in Chiang Mai.

^Is that a hire? If so why not a Versys?
I visited TC a few times as a guest but had to stop. It is a sickening place. - Aging One

Nope, was gonna go for a MT-07 but went for the Ninja 400 as it felt nicer revving in the twisties.

Never liked the Versys or that style of bike, prefer the Ninja 650 to it.

Personal preference, I hate the Honda CBR because of the hunched body position, that would also include the Ninja I guess, though to be fair iíve never sat on one.

Been kicking around upgrading to an RE Himalayan.

    Which CBR, the 500?

It was a real let down, that bike. Kind of what you want in a touring bike, but without the power.

For short 3-4 hour blasts, I'm into low position, high revs, light and flickable. Which is why I went for the Ninja 400 over the MT-07 for when I'm in CM. Some really great rides up there.
