It's the sort of climate where my balcony doors can stay open 24/7. High enough to have no mozzies, and the wind blows through the unit all day making a fan or aircon unnecessary. Aircon used in the bedroom for sleeping.
Well whaddaya want me to say, they prefer the Thai climate.

I lived in the centre of KL for a while and it was common to see monkeys running around in the trees and gardens. Bangkok lost it when they went for high density china town type development and chopped down all the greenery.

Yep quite a few monkeys in the trees around my area.
This city is literally carved out of the rainforest, and they always leave plenty of it intact between residential areas.
I haven't been to KL in years (except for the airport) and was somewhat surprised to see this thread title. But after viewing the photos, it seems KL might have changed for the better. A short trip may be in the offing!
