Well whaddaya want me to say, they prefer the Thai climate.

    Cheap.

Mind, not much to cut is there.

Great roads but I don't want a car. The very cheap and reliable public transport and Grab make it unnecessary.

...so, the bridge has been swallowed up by the foliage then...

It doesn't bother me, and was entirely predictable. I would have thought the mod would want to keep such pollution off such threads though.

                  That's a great view.
I visited TC a few times as a guest but had to stop. It is a sickening place. - Aging One

Compares very favorably to Bangkok, gotta say.

I lived in the centre of KL for a while and it was common to see monkeys running around in the trees and gardens. Bangkok lost it when they went for high density china town type development and chopped down all the greenery.

Yep quite a few monkeys in the trees around my area.

This city is literally carved out of the rainforest, and they always leave plenty of it intact between residential areas.

It's more like the more spacious areas of Hong Kong than anywhere in Bangkok.

I haven't been to KL in years (except for the airport) and was somewhat surprised to see this thread title. But after viewing the photos, it seems KL might have changed for the better. A short trip may be in the offing!
