I am using NordVPN here in the U.S. of A. I, supposedly, paid a special discounted price of $103.00 for a 36 month plan.
I have had problems twice with a website not loading. Using their internet chat function, their tech support worked to resolve the issue, by giving me a server number to log into instead of just connecting to a random server. The tech support seemed to have no problems with staying in the chat while I was disconnecting and reconnecting to servers or changing the DNS settings in my wifi, which did not work. Everything did work out and I eventually was able to log into the websites I needed to access.
Tech support stayed in chat as long as needed to fix the problem, telling me to take my time and answering any question I had. They were American too. Not sure if I would have access to American tech support if I were in Thailand though, or if they would be fluent in English language.
During the chat, I found out that my wife could also get tech support in Thai as well, if she had problems on her work computers. One at her restaurant and one at home.
So far I am just using NordVPN on my laptop while I see if there are any problems with it, such as above.
One thing I think is strange about this. I was connecting to servers in different countries and running internet speed tests. I found that I had the fastest upload and download speeds when connected to servers in Great Britain. I don't know enough about VPN's to understand that.
